How Much Does a Small Business Website Cost in Maryland?
There is no single price for a business website in Maryland. The useful starting point is what the site needs to do. Current Mythos Web Studio pricing is $595 for one custom page, $895 for up to five informational pages, and from $495 for an agreed improvement to one existing page. Advanced work is quoted separately. These are Mythos prices, not average Maryland market rates.

DIY website builders: budget for your time, too
A website builder can suit a business with straightforward requirements and someone willing to write, arrange and maintain the content. Compare the ongoing subscription, domain renewal and any paid features rather than only the introductory price.
The work still includes choosing what to say, preparing images, checking the mobile version and testing the contact path. If that time takes you away from paid work, include it in the decision. A low cash outlay and a low total commitment are different things.
Template and freelancer builds: compare deliverables
A template can reduce the amount of design work, while a freelancer may adapt it or build a tailored site. Neither label tells you the final scope. Ask who supplies copy, how many pages are included, what revisions cover and whether launch support is part of the quote.
A useful proposal separates the initial build from licenses, hosting and future changes. It also explains who can update the site after handover. Compare those responsibilities before comparing headline prices.
One custom page or several informational pages?
Mythos’s $595 one-page website suits a focused introduction: who you are, what you offer and how to inquire. It includes responsive design and the defined standard inquiry flow. One page works best when visitors can understand the offer without navigating several distinct topics.
The $895 scope provides up to five informational pages. Separate service, about, portfolio and contact content can give different customer questions their own place. Booking, checkout, accounts and other business systems are not part of that informational scope.

Redesigns and advanced systems need a closer look
An existing site may need a focused improvement rather than replacement. Mythos’s existing-page improvement starts at $495 after a review of one suitable homepage or landing page. A multi-page redesign, difficult legacy platform or migration needs a separate quote.
Ecommerce, scheduling, customer portals and custom integrations add requirements beyond page count. Define the workflow, access rules, content responsibilities and support expectations before choosing a budget. A clear brief lets the proposal address the actual work.
Keep launch costs and ongoing costs separate
Domain registration and renewal, hosting and paid third-party tools are separate unless the proposal expressly includes them. Maintenance should also have a defined scope: routine updates, monitoring and content changes are different responsibilities.
Mythos offers optional Managed Web Care under its existing care-plan terms. Confirm which responsibilities you will handle yourself and which require ongoing support. Substantial copywriting, branding and advanced features are separately scoped.

Choose the smallest scope that answers the right questions
List the information customers need before contacting you and the actions the website must support. Then separate launch requirements from later ideas. This makes quotes easier to compare without buying features you do not yet need.
For a focused first launch, consider the startup website option.
